Biography
Lina Selander was born in 1973. She lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden. Selander works mainly with film, but extends her practice to include sound, photography, text and work for public spaces. Selander’s work has been shown at Moderna Museet Stockholm (2010, 2015), Index – The Swedish Contemporary Art Foundation (2011), Kunsthall Trondheim (2014), Kalmar Konstmuseum (2014), INIVA, London (2015), and in international group shows such as the Bucharest Biennale (2010), Manifesta 9 in Belgium (2012), at Haus Kulturen der Welt, Berlin (2014) and at Seoul International Media Art Biennale (2014). She is currently representing Sweden at the Venice Biennale (2015).
