Introduction by Marie J. Jean
Facilitated by Geneviève Marcil
The conversation will take place in English and will be followed by a Q&A.

A new research axis at VOX
The emergence and proliferation of open-source media, the widespread use of smartphones with access to geolocation data, the use of software and other forensic technologies, and digital modeling offer new and original ways to conduct visual and conceptual investigations. Artists have seized upon this technological armada to investigate human rights abuses or to support social or environmental justice causes. In the coming year, VOX will focus on the investigative image and its potential for artists.
