Sophie Trudeau

Sophie Trudeau is a member of the acclaimed band Godspeed You! Black Emperor, known for their legendary concerts and cinematic music. Trudeau has worked with visual artists on many occasions, and her music has been featured on several soundtracks. She worked notably with American filmmaker Jem Cohen on his performance WE HAVE AN ANCHOR, which was presented at EMPAC in New York and at the Barbican in London. Recently, her collaboration with filmmaker Michaela Grill has taken her to perform at international film festivals in Barcelona (L’Alternativa) and Ann Arbor. [Source : VOX, 2020]
