VOX develops a coherent, targeted program of exhibitions along specific thematic axes, helping to advance research into artistic and curatorial practices. Our program of exhibitions is firmly oriented toward research and experimentation, investigating the conceptual paradigms underpinning image practices. It is essential to underline that we consider the image in a post-media perspective, conceiving it above all as an aesthetic, technological, socio-political and historical phenomenon, rather than as a simple media. Finally, our ambition is to promote the production of new knowledge in a transhistorical perspective, that is to say by encouraging a real dialogue between actual art and art history.


VOX développe un programme d’expositions cohérent et ciblé, selon des axes thématiques, qui fait avancer la recherche sur les pratiques artistiques et curatoriales. Notre motivation principale est d’encourager la recherche et l’expérimentation en plus de stimuler la production de savoirs entourant les pratiques de l’image. Il est essentiel de souligner que nous considérons l’image dans une perspective post-média, la concevant avant tout comme un phénomène esthétique, technologique, sociopolitique et historique, plutôt que comme un simple médium. Enfin, notre ambition est de favoriser la production de nouveaux savoirs dans une perspective transhistorique, c’est-à-dire en encourageant un véritable dialogue entre l’art actuel et l’histoire de l’art.
