Dominique Sirois-Rouleau holds a PhD in art history. Her research centres on spectatorial activity, the notion of the object in contemporary art, and the socio-economic conditions of museal and art-historical practice. She is a lecturer in the Department of Art History at Université du Québec à Montréal, an independent exhibition curator and art critic, and Executive Director of MOMENTA Biennale d’art contemporain. She has contributed to numerous international symposia and has been a member of several committees and juries.
