Kristan Horton
Kristan Horton lives and works in Toronto. He studied fine art at the University of Guelph and the Ontario College of Art and Design. Horton’s multi-disciplinary practice includes sculpture, drawing, photography and video. Using layered processes of construction, both material and virtual; he has produced several long-term projects linked conceptually by their serial and episodic structure.
He recently shown his work widely in Canada and abroad including White Columns, New York (2008), MacKenzie Art Gallery, Regina (2009), Münchner Kammerspiele, Munich (2008), The Contemporary Art Gallery, Vancouver (2007), Art Gallery of York University, Toronto, The Albright Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, New York (2007) and The Power Plant, Toronto (2006-2007).
