Moshe Ninio
Moshe Ninio (1953–) is an artist who lives and works in Tel Aviv. In works resulting from a long, meticulous creative process, he questions the status of the image with regard to its nature and its relationship with the viewer. His production has been presented internationally; recent major exhibitions include Lapse, Musée d’art et d’histoire du judaïsme (Paris, 2016); Rainbow Rug, Santa Monica Museum of Art (2015); Babel, Genia Schreiber University Art Gallery (Tel Aviv, 2014); Pleated Blinds, Petach Tikva Museum of Art (2010); and Traces du Sacré, Centre Georges-Pompidou (Paris, 2008). He is represented by the Dvir Gallery (Tel Aviv, Brussels) and Galerie Chantal Crousel (Paris).
