Adnan and Nina Softić

Adnan Softić (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Nina Softić (Germany) address the relationships between aesthetics, politics and ecology in their collaborative practice. In their work, a particular focus lies on the relationships between architecture and violence, language and history, and forms of oppression. In research-based and interdisciplinary cycles of work, they explore contexts of phenomena such as exile, extraterritoriality, invisibility, and non-knowledge.
Their works have been presented at silent green (Berlin, 2025), Ars Electronica (Linz, 2023), Whitechapel Gallery (London, 2023), NiMAC (Nicosia, 2023), and Berlinische Galerie (Berlin, 2018). Adnan Softić was a fellow of the German Academy in Rome (Villa Massimo) in 2016–2017. [Source: n.b.k., VOX, 2026]
