Alex Noël (he/they) has published various creative texts in magazines and as part of collectives, mainly literary reportage and poetry. As part of his practice, he likes to investigate the cracks in history, the blind spots in culture and that which has not been remembered. His texts cover topics ranging from the former seamstresses of the Fruit of Loom factory, to women painters excluded from permanent exhibitions at the Musée des beaux-arts du Québec and Montreal artists and intellectuals who have died of AIDS. Since 2022, Alex Noël also teaches Quebec literature at the Université de Montréal. His research focuses on the modern Quebec novel and queer memory. [Source: VOX, 2025]
