Chloé Galibert-Laîné
Chloé Galibert-Laîné is a French researcher and filmmaker. They hold a PhD from the Ecole normale supérieure de Paris, and are currently working as Senior Researcher at the Lucerne School of Art and Design in Switzerland. Their video essays and desktop documentaries, which have been selected at festivals such as IFFRotterdam, IDFA and FIDMarseille, explore the intersections between cinema and online media, with a particular interest for questions related to embodied spectatorship, gestures of appropriation, processes of knowledge production and mediated memory. They have taught courses and workshops at various universities and art schools, most recently at the University of Massachusetts, the Beaux-Arts de Marseille and the California Institute of the Arts.
