Doriane Biot is a curator and cultural worker based in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang/Montreal. A graduate of the École de recherche graphique (Brussels), she holds a master’s degree in visual culture (University of Aberdeen) and in museology (Université de Montréal), where her research focused on filmed and exhibited testimony. Between 2020 and 2023, she held the position of Exhibitions Manager at the Cinémathèque québécoise, where she also took part in developing film programs and publications centered on animation and experimental cinema. As an independent curator, she is dedicated to showcasing contemporary moving-image practices. She has curated exhibitions presented in Quebec (Galerie de l’UQAM, VOX, DRAC) and in Belgium (Centrale for contemporary art, Centre d’art de la chapelle de Boondael). A member of the VOX team since 2023, she is currently Exhibition Coordinator and Head of National and International Distribution. [Source: VOX, 2026]
