François Lemieux

François Lemieux makes books and exhibitions. His practice aims to prompt collective thinking about the notions of power, value, and the relationship to the norm. In Canada, his works have been presented in venues including VOX, the Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery, articule, the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, and the Banff Centre. He has also exhibited at the Künstlerhaus Betanien, SP2, the Leipziger Kunstverein and the Künstlerresidenz Blumen and Kunstwerk galleries (Germany), the Tenjinyama Art Studio (Japan), the 1646 and Walden Affairs galleries (Netherlands) as well as the Fabbrica del Vapore and as part of the program FAR at the Fondazione Antonio Ratti (Italy). He has initiated many collective and independent projects including WLTWSAETLV and Le Merle.
