Valentin Noujaïm

Valentin Noujaïm is a Franco-Lebanese artist and filmmaker based between Paris and Athens. His work explores how individuals and territories navigate forms of collapse, approaching contemporary architecture as spaces traversed by narratives, tensions, and latent imaginaries.

A graduate of La Fémis Film School in Paris and a former guest student at the Städelschule in Frankfurt, he is the author of the trilogy La Défense. The first film, Pacific Club (2023), premiered at CPH:DOX where it received a special mention and was shortlisted for the César Awards. To Exist Under Permanent Suspicion (2024) had its world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam before being screened at the Centre Pompidou.

His work has been shown at the MoMA, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, the Istanbul Biennale, the Thessaloniki Biennale, the Fondation Cartier, Lafayette Anticipations, the ICA London, the Museo Madre in Naples, and as part of the CIRCA Prize in London.
