Yvon Lemay

Yvon Lemay is an associate professor at the Université de Montréal École de bibliothéconomie et des sciences de l’information (EBSI). Aspects relating to the dissemination and exploitation of archives, particularly for creative purposes, are at the heart of his research activities.

Since 2020, he has been working on Carnets recherche-création, a research-creation project whose first two volumes are freely accessible on Papyrus, the institutional repository of Université de Montréal. The third volume, 3. Rendre les archives vivantes, is currently underway. The latter is also linked to the second phase of the research project Les archives « privées » du Québec : objets, acteurs et actrices, lieux et pratiques (SSHRC, Insight Development), under the direction of Annaëlle Winand, assistant professor at EBSI.
