Geneviève Marcil

Geneviève Marcil is an art historian, art worker and curator. She completed a master’s degree in art history at Université du Québec à Montréal (2018). Her interests reside in the material and conceptual considerations in artistic practices in relation with the socioeconomic context of the post-war period. A member of the VOX, centre de l’image contemporaine team since 2020, she is currently Exhibition Coordinator and Head of Education. In 2018–19, she worked as a research assistant at the Dia Art Foundation (New York). She co-curated the exhibitions “Créer à rebours vers l’exposition”: The case of Art et féminisme (VOX, 2021) and Reading Performance.
