Rémi Belliveau is an Acadian interdisciplinary artist and musician from Belliveau-Village (Memramcook Valley, New Brunswick). Acadian cultural heritage and the fiction behind the construction of foundational narratives are key to Rémi Belliveau’s practice. Since 2018, Belliveau has been developing a long-term project on Joan Dularge, a “missing” figure in the history of Acadian political rock music of the 1960s and 1970s. [Source: MOMENTA, 2023]
