She grew up in a kingdom filled with memories no one had ever told her about.
The stories in her schoolbooks were all about explorers, kings, great discoveries...
But never about the women healers. Or the Maroons. Never about her.

With your family, discover a new contemporary art exhibition specially designed for children aged 6 to 12: Once Upon a Time, Malaika by artist Moridja Kitenge Banza.

Taking the fantastical tale invented by the artist as its starting point, the exhibition encourages children to reflect on how history is told and passed on to them. After the visit, children are invited to take part in a workshop to create an imaginary geographical space!
